In the New Testament book of Mark—chapter 11—just before Jesus is arrested, He sends two disciples ahead to secure a room for what they would later realize was their final meal with Him before His death. What was the significance of this stop on Jesus’ journey to the cross? Why do we continue to practice communion over 2,000 years later? Join us as Pastor Andrea Jakobsons leads our worship service, accompanied by our youth. We’ll participate in the same service that Jesus and His disciples practiced in the upper room, and Pastor Andrea will share a message titled, “A Stop on the Journey to the Cross.”
