An Update on Today’s Livestream Worship Service
Friends, we experienced a system failure during our online worship service this past Sabbath, November 23. We did our best to recover the video footage, but unfortunately, very little was recoverable. The recording was damaged when the system crashed just after Pastor Chad began his sermon, rendering the recorded files unusable.
We’re working with the audio-visual team at the Lutheran church to understand why this happened, and they have been incredibly responsive in helping to get a solution in place. We remain grateful for their help and assistance as our teams work to provide the online worship services and the subsequent on-demand replays each week. We remain hopeful that we will be able to re-record this message (and perhaps the entire series) in the near future. —Pastor Jason
Sermon Description
During the previous messages in this series, we’ve looked at God’s presence during our trials and struggles and His deliverance from our trials and struggles. This week, we’ll examine what Scripture tells us to do during these times of trial and struggle. What is it? The answer is right there in the title. However, if you thought, “Oh, good, this is the easy part!” you may need to reconsider. In the final message from this series, Pastor Chad Stuart challenges us to understand why being still is one of the most difficult yet profoundly beneficial spiritual disciplines.
Festival of Hymns, next Saturday, November 30
Join us for a special Festival of Hymns during the 11:30 a.m. worship service on November 30. This event will feature our Sanctuary Choir, a brass ensemble, the Spencerville Orchestra, and congregational singing. Don’t miss an opportunity to participate in this joyous celebration of the Word in worship as we give thanks for God’s enduring strength and protection!
