Great Joy: Simeon’s Song (Part Four)

Luke’s Gospel tells us that the sight of young Jesus brought great joy to a man named Simeon, for the Holy Spirit revealed that he would not die until he had seen the Messiah. As he bears witness to mankind’s Redeemer, Simeon utters a song of joy and delight for reasons many around him do not yet understand. How can we take part in this same joy?
