Why do we exist? No, really? What is the purpose of this church and school here in this location, at this particular moment in time? Do we believe it to be divinely appointed? Or is it just a coincidence? When we opened our new school building in 2011, it was the capstone of more than 15 years of planning and preparation. Was it easy? No. Did it involve a lot of prayer and sacrifice? Yes. Spencerville Adventist Academy is our church’s single largest budgetary line item. If the old adage is true about what’s important being reflected in one’s checkbook or bank balance, then that says something about Spencerville Church. But to what end?
