Two Absolutes at the Communion Table

With his death on the horizon, Jesus gathered His disciples for a meal together. As they sat at the table, He was sure of two things: 1. He would die for us—He communicated His desire to eat with us in His kingdom made new, and 2. We are invited to come to the table with unwavering confidence that Jesus’ death on our behalf covers our sins and that we will be with Him in the kingdom!
