As part of the Spencerville Adventist Academy Alumni Homecoming weekend, our 11:30 a.m. worship service will be led by the alumni and staff of Spencerville Academy. We’re pleased to welcome Jim Zeismer to the pulpit on May 4 as he shares a message titled “It’s About Time.”
Each Spring, we welcome back the alumni from Spencerville Adventist Academy (and Spencerville Junior Academy) to celebrate what God has done through this school and continues to do in the lives of those who have passed through its hallways. Spencerville Church has actively supported Adventist education from the start; the first school was constructed in 1943, less than two years after Spencerville Church was planted. Spencerville School opened in the autumn of 1943 with a grand total of four students. Today, Spencerville Adventist Academy is blessed to enjoy a state-of-the-art facility just a short distance down the road from where that original schoolhouse was built. Our enrollment for the 2023-24 school year is over 400 students! As we look back over the 81 years and thousands of students, all we can say is “How good is our God?”
