Faithfulness

Faithfulness

In scripture, faith is written as a verb biased toward action, whereas popular culture has sometimes tried to fashion it into a noun. Galatians 5 translates the word as faithfulness or “to faith” instead of simply as “faith.” As we study through the fruit of the Spirit, Pastor Chad lingers on the importance of understanding the concept of faithfulness in this week’s message, “Faithfulness,” the seventh part of this series, “Ripening.”

Reminder: No Live Stream Broadcast on October 5

We’re grateful to the Lutheran Church of St. Andrew (LCSA) for generously serving as our temporary worship location while our building is unavailable. However, LCSA is unavailable for worship next Saturday, October 5, due to a previously scheduled event. So, we’ve decided to spend a few hours on Sabbath doing neighborhood outreach as a church. If you’re a local member, we invite you to come to Spencerville Adventist Academy at 10:00 a.m. for a short worship before we organize as teams to share the gift of prayer and a book within the neighborhoods around the Lutheran Church of St. Andrew. Pastor Chad will provide more information during this week’s worship service and in next week’s Weekly Update email newsletter.

If you’re a regular attendee but live elsewhere, we invite you to spend a few hours serving somewhere within your community! We look forward to worshiping with you again on October 12 as we return to our regularly scheduled 11:30 a.m. (ET) worship service.
