Scripture tells us that God seals His people in two ways: through the Gospel of Jesus at the time of salvation, and apocalyptically at the end of time. In both cases, we are sealed through our trust in the truth of the Gospel as evidenced by our obedience to God. Like the many other counterfeits we’ve examined during this series, we see that Satan also offers a counterfeit seal, referred to in Scripture as the Mark of the Beast.
There are numerous theories about the Mark of the Beast and the factors that cause a person to receive it. The truth is that it requires only disobedience, with Satan, the great deceiver, dressing this disobedience up as the easier, reasonable path, and dismissing the seal of God as optional.
Don’t miss this pivotal message in the Counterfeits series with Pastor Chad Stuart! This week, we’ll explore the third part of this five-part series, titled “The Seals of God and the Mark of the Beast.”
