This past Sunday, August 21, the Spencerville Church family and more than a few guests gathered together once again to mark the close of the summer season with an Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social. Along with the delicious treats, we were regaled by the sound of children’s laughter, games on the grass, and some wonderful conversation and fellowship. Did we mention the gallons of ice cream and plentiful wedges of watermelon?
A special thank you to Brad Martin and his team (pictured in the first photo below) for their help in making it an afternoon to remember! We’re exploring the idea of returning to a quarterly schedule for social events like this.
