On Saturday, February 16, organist Kimo Smith will present a concert of music by John Cook, J.S. Bach, Joseph Jongen, J.M. Michel, Leon Boëllmann, Janet Linker, and Dan Locklair. Dr. Smith is an active educator, church musician, recitalist, and collaborative pianist. He is currently Associate Professor of Music and Director of Keyboard Studies at La Sierra University, where he served as chair of the Department of Music from 2003 to 2010. He is currently organist of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood and the Loma Linda University Church in California, both positions he has held for almost three decades. He has performed throughout the United States, and in Europe, Asia, and South America as a solo artist, and with touring choral and instrumental groups.
