Festival of Lessons and Carols – Dec 13, 2014

A Festival of Lessons and Carols has been presented as part of the Evensong Concert Series for over two decades. This year, presented a Festival of 7 Advent Lessons and Carols. The season of Advent is rich in symbolism that points both to Christ’s first and second coming to this earth. This concert explores these dual meanings with readings from ancient scriptures and more contemporary writers, interspersed with carols for choir and congregation.
