One in five teens will experience dating violence during their high school years—the time when they should be forming patterns for healthy future relationships. Do your teens have the tools they need to respond?
You’re invited to a free event on November 10 at 6:00 PM titled, Stand. Speak. Act at Spencerville Adventist Academy. This event is crafted to give high school and college students the tools they’ll need to respond when they encounter dating violence personally or within their peer group. Stand. Speak. Act. is explicitly designed for students between the ages of 15 and 21 as well as the parents and/or guardians of these students.
Stand. Speak. Act. will feature inspirational speakers, food, live music, and a partial screening of Escalation, a powerful film by One Love Foundation.
The event is free, but registration is encouraged to help plan for food and materials. Please register by clicking the button above.
Stand.Speak.Act. is an initiative of Spencerville Church in collaboration with the Beltsville Seventh-day Adventist Church.
