Good morning, friends. Earlier this morning, I sent an email alerting you to the possible cancellation of our worship services for today, July 8, due to a power outage. Unfortunately, as of 7:00 a.m. this morning, BGE crews have been overwhelmed with outages due to yesterday’s storm and have been unable to restore the church’s power. This leaves us without lights and air conditioning in the sanctuary, meeting areas, and classrooms. With the power out, we have not been able to inspect any damage that the outage may have caused. Because of this, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel all activities and services for today, July 8.
Thank you for your understanding, and please continue to pray that this issue will be completely resolved very soon.

P.S. In light of this news, today would be a great day to get together with your Connect Group or Sabbath School class for a picnic, a hike, or an impromptu Bible study. If possible, spend time in nature and celebrate all of God’s blessings while growing in relationship with one another. Love y’all!
