If you enjoy being in nature on Sabbath, this group is for you! Join a group of Spencerville members as they participate in a Sabbath afternoon nature walk on October 1. Bring a brown-bag lunch and eat with us at the church, or join us at Fairland Recreational Park, ready to walk at 2:30 p.m.
Schedule:
Brown-bag lunch (bring your own): 1:00 p.m.
Leave church for Fairland Park: 2:00 p.m.
Walk departs at Fairland Park: 2:30 p.m.
This month’s walk will take place at the Fairland Recreational Park in Burtonsville, at the West entrance off Greencastle Road (get directions).
Don’t forget to invite a friend, co-worker, or neighbor! The Walk-and-Talk events are a fantastic, low-key avenue to building relationships within our current church community and beyond!
