Spencerville Church Reaches Local Community Through Health and Wellness Expo

On Sunday, September 7, Spencerville Church Health Ministries hosted the Wholistic Wellness Expo, and it was truly a blessing! The expo attracted around 100 attendees from the local community, bringing 21 vendors offering 32 unique services, all supported by 46 dedicated volunteers. The atmosphere of the expo was abuzz with activity and connection. Attendees were encouraged to take a journey to W.H.O.L.E.N.E.S.S. by visiting booths that provided everything from résumé advice and professional headshots to dental and diabetes screenings, mental health resources, and physical therapy check-ins. Families enjoyed pickleball, a children’s expo, a prayer booth, and healthy food samples. It was an incredible day serving the community with healthful living tips, hope, and faith.

The Wholistic Wellness Expo was overseen by the Spencerville Church Health Ministries team, under the leadership of Sheena Crawford and their pastoral liaison, Pastor Crystal E. Ward.

“It was a blessing to see members of our church community warmly welcoming and interacting with the supporting organizations and members of our local community,” said Pastor Crystal. “The Adventist message of wholeness was well-represented in the booths of the Wholistic Wellness Expo. We want our church to be a recognized and trusted resource for health and wholeness in our local community and hope to make this an annual event on our church calendar.”

Thank you to our volunteers, vendors, and the attendees who helped make the Wellness Expo a success!
