New to Spencerville Seventh-day Adventist Church?

Welcome! We know that visiting a new church can be a little intimidating. After all, each local church community often has its own traditions, rhythms, and routines. Regardless of your background or faith journey, our goal is to make Spencerville a place that is comfortable and welcoming for individuals and families alike!

At the Spencerville Church Saturday service, you’ll be greeted by people who are genuinely excited to have you worship with us. We aim to create an environment where you’ll feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged from the parking lot to the pew.

At a Saturday service, you’ll find:

  • Our 9:00 a.m. worship service lasts about an hour, with the 11:30 a.m. worship service running slightly longer.
  • Bible-based, expository preaching from one of our staff pastors, or a highly-qualified guest speaker.
  • Our worship services feature beautiful music from the piano, choirs, orchestra, our pipe organ, and, of course, the congregation.
  • Age-appropriate programs for your kids during our 10:00 a.m. Sabbath School Bible study hour.

Okay, but how should I dress?

Short answer: it doesn’t matter to us. When you look around our worship services, you’ll see a little bit of everything at Spencerville. A majority of men prefer to dress in a suit and tie or business casual. Others will be wearing jeans and a polo shirt. You’ll see some women wearing dresses, while others may wear blouses with a skirt or slacks. Kids are often seen in shorts during the warmer months. Basically, we want you to be comfortable. Come as you are and let’s worship together.

Optionally, let us know you’re coming!

Let us know you’re planning a visit, and we’ll have a friendly face waiting to greet you! Our guests often find it helpful to have someone show them around during their first visit. A team member can show you where the classrooms are located and where the restrooms can be found (including an ADA restroom specifically designed for those with special needs). They’re also happy to answer any questions regarding service times, class recommendations, and more!
