Community Services is seeking leaders/coordinators for Community Service Day on April 26.

The remaining 6  projects still needing coordinators/leaders are:

1. Montgomery Park cleanup- Layhill Local Park (20 volunteers)
2. Interfaith Works – barbecue for 8 women in supportive housing – Gaithersburg (15 volunteers)
3. No sew blankets with Project Linus –  Spencerville Academy ( 25 volunteers)
4. Yard cleanup – for Spencerville senior – Location TBD( 5 volunteers)
5. Homes Not Borders – home set up for refugee families. Location TBD (15 volunteers)
6.  Displaced Persons Project – help organize, pack, and distribute food and diapers to displaced families.

The responsibilities include: 

1. Serve as a point of contact for volunteers

2. Help organize volunteers as needed

3. Take a few pictures for the community service gallery

4. Invite friends to join in the activity

5. Attend a meeting with volunteers
